Welcome to the OPS CART Activation Interface. This tool allows you to create, process, and distribute CART activation notices efficiently. Below are instructions for using its features:
Fields:
Date of Activation: Set the date the CART activation was initiated (required, any date). Hover over the ? for guidance.
IS THIS AN OFFICIAL CART ACTIVATION: Select Yes or No to indicate if this is an official CART activation (required, defaults to No).
Location of Incident: Enter the incident location (required, max 200 characters, e.g., "123 Main St, Vineland, NJ").
Type of Incident: Select the incident category from the dropdown (required, e.g., Missing Person, Stranger Abduction).
Is there any indication the victim is at risk of death or serious bodily injury at this time?: Select Yes or No to indicate victim risk (required, defaults to No).
Report to this Location: Enter the location to report (optional, max 200 characters, e.g., "Command Post, 456 Oak St, Vineland, NJ").
Directions Link: Add a Google Maps URL for directions to the report location (optional, must be valid, e.g., "https://www.google.com/maps/place/456+Oak+St..."). Use the "Find Address" link to locate the address. Hover over the ? for guidance.
CART Activation Issued By: Enter the issuing officer or entity (required, max 200 characters, e.g., "Sgt. John Doe").
CART Activation Authorized By: Enter the authorizing officer or entity (required, max 200 characters, e.g., "Chief Jane Smith").
Activation Instructions: Provide detailed instructions for the CART activation (optional, max 5000 characters, e.g., deployment details). Use "- " for bullets, "1. " for numbered lists, and Enter for line breaks/spacing. Text order is preserved.
OPS IMS HUB Activated?: Select whether the OPS IMS HUB is activated (required, options: Yes, No, Pending Activation, defaults to No).
Emergency Response Authorized?: Select Yes or No to indicate if emergency response is authorized (required, defaults to No).
AMBER Alert Activated: Select Yes or No to indicate if an AMBER Alert is activated (required, defaults to No).
Special Instructions: Include specific actions or instructions (optional, max 5000 characters, e.g., "Avoid area"). Use "- " for bullets, "1. " for numbered lists, and Enter for line breaks/spacing. Text order is preserved.
Buttons:
Process: Validates and generates the CART activation notice in the Output box. Required fields must be valid.
Clear All Fields: Resets all fields and clears the Output box, clearing any validation errors.
Export to PDF: Downloads a PDF file containing the Output content and creation date/time, with the title "OPS NETWORK CART ACTIVATION". Requires valid inputs.
Grab Complete CART Notice: Copies the full Output content, including all fields, to the clipboard for pasting into the OPS CART Module.

Output: Displays the processed CART activation notice with bold titles and clickable links (Directions).
Copying CART Notices: Click "Grab Complete CART Notice" to copy the full CART notice and paste it into the CART Message interface in your OPS CART Module. From the Module, add any appropriate images, videos, or attachments.
PDF Export: The PDF includes the Output content, bulleted/numbered lists, creation date/time, and the title "OPS NETWORK CART ACTIVATION", downloadable as cart-report.pdf.
